COOKED FULL FAT LINSEED®

Cooked Full Fat Linseed is a nutritious and natural complementary feed supplement made from 100% pure linseed that has been micronised and milled to improve the availability of ingredients and allow a higher digestible energy level. It is low in sugar and starch, and suitable for all horses and ponies, and their different activities and feeding regimes. It is particularly beneficial for those on a forage or fibre-based diet, providing protein, fibre and oil to support condition, performance, coat, skin and joint health. It can be fed straight from the bag or as a top dressing with EquiGlo Quick Soak 10 Minute Beet or hard feeds.

Horses and ponies can benefit from its inclusion in their daily ration, particularly when given as part of a food, forage/fibre-based diet. Cooked Full Fat Linseed can be added to forage/fibre-based diets and hard feed or balancers, bringing supplementary protein, oil and fibre.  It can be used straight from the bag or as a top dressing with EquiGlo Quick Soak 10 Minute Beet.  Cooked Full Fat Linseed should always be given according to a horse or pony’s weight and workload. It should be introduced slowly and gradually over a two- to three-week period. Please refer to the feeding chart for guidance on quantities. Always monitor your horse’s condition on a regular basis and adjust feed as required.
