Hello everyone,
Well, the show season is officially here! And after a 12-month break, it feels fantastic to be back out and about, getting into the swing of things and enjoying the shows with our daughter, Peggy.
Cloddiau Actress, affectionately known as "Mrs. Jones," made a great return to the arena, by winning the Open M&M class at CCR Equestrian and continued her winning streak by taking home Reserve In-Hand Champion. She also secured her qualification for the TFSS Championships (The Friendly Showing Society) this September, which we are really looking forward to.
Life at home has been equally rewarding and we’ve been focusing on Hazel’s training. I am so proud of the progress she’s made.
After I lightly backed her, she was turned away and enjoyed some well-deserved downtime. Since coming back into work, she has been an absolute diamond and is really enjoying life under saddle - whether we are working in the arena or out hacking. She has taken everything in her stride and has such a wonderful attitude.
We have a few arena hires booked and I’m hoping we’ll be back out competing in the ridden classes later this summer. June is looking to be an incredibly busy month with several shows in the calendar for both girls.
Fingers crossed we can keep the good results coming!
