Hello, everyone. Apologies for not being in touch for a while, we've been completely submerged in competitions and training and the time has just flown by. . .
I have competed at Sheepgate Under 25s Championships, where Rodger did me proud once again. We were in Medium 75 gaining 3rd overall and 2nd in our section where we won a good amount of money and even had a podium finish. We also took part in the Pony FEI test, finishing 2nd overall and coming away with even more prize money and another podium!
Two weeks later we trekked down to Somerford Park Farm for the Lemieux National Dressage Championships to compete in the Pony FEI test yet again. Rodger and I held our own against the European team, eventually finishing 6th. Not too bad for a wildcard, even if I do say so myself.
Around a month later – and after many training sessions – we headed over to Aintree Racecourse to compete in the high-profile show where Rodger didn't disappoint. We competed twice on the Wednesday in Medium 61 and Medium 73, gaining mounted presentations in both tests. We only competed the once on Thursday, finishing 2nd by a few marks to a European rider. I was absolutely over the moon with Rodger's performances and can't wait for the winter training ahead.
