Myself and my riding buddy (bestest buddy) organised a training ride for our local endurance group. We like that we “do our bit” for the local group, especially after a new rule coming into place, meaning members have to volunteer at least one ride. A great idea as nobody realises what’s involved. It takes place at Trewithen Estate which is not usually accessible to anyone, we are lucky!
EquiGlo supported our ride this year by giving samples to every rider, 2 bags of feed which went to our time keeper’s favourite, 8 bags of treats which went to our yard girl’s favourite horses and best of all 10 vouchers for feed.
We decided to run a photo competition. All that had to be in the shot were some pretty horses and the EquiGlo banner. We will choose our 5 favourite and they all win 2 vouchers each. We had a great response to this, with people posing by the banner! A MASSIVE thanks for the support from EquiGlo and hopefully some new customers.
The ride was a success, enjoyed by everyone involved, so here’s to next year.
My guys have had a quiet-ish month, but all are fit to ride some 32km rides.
We had entered for a training ride ourselves so that we could get Bella our for a practice before she competes for the first ever time at the end of March. This got cancelled so we are in at the deep end, my aim is to stay on!
I can’t wait for the clocks to change and to have them all out and about. We have some great rides coming up so now just go plan which horse is going where…
